I baked this and my entire home smelled like apples and spices. I cut off a slice and added a little bit of butter (i love butter!) and it almost melted in my mouth. so good!!

You may think Plentiful Pantry packed a visit to an orchard into this sweet, charming mix. With just the right combination of apple, cinnamon, and spice, this will become your pantry’s staple when you want a quick, yet high quality dessert to serve the most discerning of guests gathered around your table. So good you’ll feel fine wrapping a loaf to give as a gift, yet if your family sees it cooling on the counter, you may not be able to do so. Serve with fresh whipped cream topped with a dusting of nutmeg, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or chilled and sliced super thin alongside a scoop of chicken salad. This is the apple spice bread Grandma would have been proud to serve and one for which she would ask the recipe. Bake up a visit to the farmers’ market by keeping a stock of these on hand.
