Description

Add pasta to a large pot of boiling water, stir after water boils, cook for 2-3 mins or until desired tenderness. Do not overcook. Drain, toss immediately with your favorite Pasta Partners’ Sauce.

Shrimp Scampi

Serves 6.

1 pkg. Pasta Partners Lemon Pepper Linguine
1 pkg. Pasta Partners Shrimp Scampi Sauce Mix

1 Lb Medium Shrimp (uncooked), shelled and deveined

4 Tbl. Butter

1 bunch Green Onions, sliced, tops only

Directions:

Add pasta to a large pot of boiling water, stir after water boils, cook
for 2-3 mins or until desired tenderness. Do not overcook.

Melt Butter in large skillet over med/high heat. Add shrimp and sauté until pink (approx 3 mins). Do not over cook. Remove shrimp, leaving butter. Stir spice packet into butter. Cook 1 minute. Stir in 2 cups water and simmer 8 minutes. Add shrimp and green onions. Simmer 2 minutes. Pour over lemon pepper pasta and toss.

    We’ve loved this pasta for years! After cooking it a little before al dente, we saute it with grated parmesan (the real expensive stuff), pasta water (salted), lemon juice, lemon zest, fresh basil and salt and pepper. It’s a great vegetarian meal. But if you want to add shrimp or chicken – it’s great too!
