Cook pasta according to package directions. Melt butter in large skillet over med/high heat. Stir in sauce package, cooking for 1 minute. Stir in 2 cups water*. Add artichoke hearts and capers. Simmer for 8 minutes. Pour over pasta and toss. Top with fresh grated parmesan if desired. Serves four to six.
Variation:
Cut 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts into 1” pieces. Brown in skillet with butter for 3 minutes. Add sauce packet and water and proceed as above.]
