Pumpkin Pound Cake
A sweet and flavorful pound cake that brings wonderful pumpkin fall flavors to your table! Easy to make and even easier to eat! If you love Pumpkin options, try our Pumpkin Cobbler as well!
Pumpkin Pound Cake instructions:
You Will Need:
1 cup pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
1/3 cups of water
Pound Cake Directions:
1- Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease a 8 x 4 x 2 loaf pan.
2- Whisk water, pumpkin and eggs together in a large bowl. Add pound cake mix and stir just until blended. DO NOT OVER MIX; batter may be lumpy.
3- Spread in loaf pan and bake 55-65 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. (you may cover with foil the last 15 minutes if the cake is getting too browned.)
4- Cool completely and remove from pan. Slice and serve.
High Altitude: (over 5,000 feet) Increase water by 2 tablespoons and add 1/3 cup flour.
stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, chopped pecans or raisins
